On December 22nd, IL Yang Industrial Company (Korea) had a meeting with Quang Tri People’s Committee to discuss their investment in solar power project in Quang Tri province. Previously IL Yang Industrial Company had a field trip in Hai Lang and Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province.

According to IL Yang Industrial Company, through surveys, the Company found that Quang Tri is a potential province to develop solar power. Therefore, in the coming time, the Company will continue to work with the province and other sectors to better understand the indicators to study, proceed to invest in building solar power plant in Hai Lang district with the capacity of 500MW and Vinh Linh district with the capacity of 200MW.

According to the People’s Committee of Quang Tri province, Quang Tri province is currently planning to attract investment projects in the field of industry, with priority in the areas of competitive advantage and environmentally friendly industries. In fact, there have been some solar power projects in the area.

The proposed investment in solar power plants in Hai Lang and Vinh Linh of IL Yang Company with advanced technology is suitable with the planning policy of locality. Compared with other Southeast Asian countries, the growth rate of the Vietnamese middle class is among the highest. For example, in the period from 2016 to 2020, the middle class in Malaysia and Thailand increased by more than 4%, Indonesia increased by nearly 12%, and Singapore only increased by 3% per year.

By 2015, the total consumption of the global middle class is 34.8 billion USD. Brookings Institute estimates that by 2030, this number will almost double. By 2030, the global middle-class consumption may increase by 29,000 billion USD compared to 2015. The today's low-income countries such as India, Indonesia and Vietnam will create a market with total consumption increased by 15 trillion USD compared with the current rate.

Not only increasing in number, the change in the money and spending perspectives of the middle class is also an attractive point. This creates a change in many industries, from food to banking.

The application for publication of enterprise registration information is a compulsory procedure, made at the time an enterprise submits its enterprise registration dossier. The content to be published includes the contents on the enterprise registration certificate and the lines of business. In addition, joint stock companies with foreign investors will need to provide information including founding. In case of changes in enterprise registration contents, the corresponding changes must be publicly announced.

Also, an enterprise must publish information in one of the forms posted on the business information network of the business registration agency or one of the written or electronic newspapers in three consecutive issues. There are some enterprises that do not need to publish their business information on the portal before going into operation, but make other forms of announcing i.e. on newspaper or other media. For instance, law-practicing organizations must publish on daily newspapers of central or local registry of law practice or newspaper for three consecutive issues. For credit institutions, foreign bank branches, representative offices of foreign credit institutions and other foreign institutions engaged in banking activities, they must be published on the State Bank's media and in a daily newspaper written in 03 consecutive issues or an electronic newspaper of Vietnam at least thirty days prior to the scheduled date of operation of opening information.

In addition to disclosing corporate information, there is also a procedure for disclosure of information on the stock market that is applicable to public companies and bond issuers (except for government bond issuers and bonds), government-guaranteed bonds and local government bonds), securities companies, fund management companies, branches of foreign fund management companies in Vietnam, public funds complying with law on securities detailing information disclosure, announcing on the company's website and information disclosure system of the Securities Commission.
